    About The Scrivener's Tale:

In the bookshops and cafes of present-day Paris, ex-psychologist Gabe Figaret is trying to put his shattered life back together. When another doctor, Reynard, asks him to help with a delusional female patient, Gabe is reluctant... until he meets her. At first Gabe thinks the woman, Angelina, is merely terrified of Reynard, but he quickly discovers she is not quite what she seems.

As his relationship with Angelina deepens, Gabe's life in Paris becomes increasingly unstable. He senses a presence watching and following every move he makes, and yet he finds Angelina increasingly irresistible.

When Angelina tells Gabe he must kill her and flee to a place she calls Morgravia, he is horrified. But then Angelina shows him that the cathedral he has dreamt about since childhood is real and exists in Morgravia.

A special 10th Anniversary edition of her first fantasy book, Myrren's Gift, will be released in December!

The Juggler by Michael Parkes

RAM: The new moon is optimal energy for going beyond the familiar boundaries of life. Visit a new place. Taste a new food. Think new thoughts. We cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. ~Andre Gide

AUROCHS: There is no point in ‘conserving your energy’. It is not a commodity you can ever run out of. Give until your heart’s content. Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. ~Buddha

TWINS: It could feel like you ‘need’ to make a relationship decision but really you simple have to get in touch with what feels good. Want a quick way to make a choice? Write down everything you can think of that is GOOD about each option & then see how you feel… ~Andrea Sholer

COBRA: This new moon could be a bit of a forest/trees situation. You are looking at the fine details when the real beauty is in perspective. Relationships and workmates will particularly benefit from you stepping back. You are seeing that which you are intending. ~Abraham

LION:   Setting an intention for a creative project is great as long as you remember you are only moving the puzzle pieces around. Stop for a moment and appreciate the whole. Everything you see on earth is made from one original substance, out of which all things proceed. ~Wallace. D. Wattles

CERES: If you’re waiting for the right furniture, the right lawn, the right address, the right partner, the right pet, the right job before you get happy, the boat has sailed. Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances. Benjamin Franklin

BALENCIA: Bright ideas seem farfetched when you brainstorm them with others, but keep at it. What you conceive of today will blossom brilliantly tomorrow! If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true were really true, there would be little hope of advance. Orville Wright

SCORPION: If you’ve hit a rough patch when it comes to money, job or career, use this time to reassess. Can you find a better thought? No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit. Helen Keller

ARCHER: This is your new moon! Take time out to appreciate life in a new way, say no to what you don’t want and yes to what you do. Live it up! Mix it up! Stir it up! Operant word is up. The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. Oprah Winfrey

SEA-GOAT: Time to loosen your grip on ‘reality’ so you can open your mind to the next creative step. Get to the place where you can dream and believe. That’s where it all begins. We have been taught to believe that negative equals realistic and positive equals unrealistic. ~Susan Jeffers

WATER-BEARER: Relax. You have no idea what you’re missing while you put effort into piecing the world together. More will happen in a moment of peace than years of action. The state of least excitation of consciousness is the field of all possibilities. ~ Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

FISHES: Self inventory is instructional as long as you use it wisely. If you see a habit to change, do so, but appreciate what it was that lead you to noticing in the first place. A person of genius makes no mistakes. Their errors are volitional and are the portals of discovery. ~James Joyce

The New Moon stars are brought to you by Kim Falconer, author of the Quantum Enchantment and Quantum Encryption trilogies, which begin with The Spell of Rosette. Kim’s latest book is Path of the Stray.
