Her latest book, The Scrivener's Tale, is a stand-alone and takes us back to the world of Morgravia from her very first series, The Quickening:

    About The Scrivener's Tale:

In the bookshops and cafes of present-day Paris, ex-psychologist Gabe Figaret is trying to put his shattered life back together. When another doctor, Reynard, asks him to help with a delusional female patient, Gabe is reluctant... until he meets her. At first Gabe thinks the woman, Angelina, is merely terrified of Reynard, but he quickly discovers she is not quite what she seems.

As his relationship with Angelina deepens, Gabe's life in Paris becomes increasingly unstable. He senses a presence watching and following every move he makes, and yet he finds Angelina increasingly irresistible.

When Angelina tells Gabe he must kill her and flee to a place she calls Morgravia, he is horrified. But then Angelina shows him that the cathedral he has dreamt about since childhood is real and exists in Morgravia.

A special 10th Anniversary edition of her first fantasy book, Myrren's Gift, will be released in December!

RAM: Sparks! No, make that flames. The energy is about to burst. Likely targets are love relationships. Hint: Work out what you want! I can teach anybody how to get what they want out of life. The problem is that I can’t find anybody who can tell me what they want. ~Mark Twain

AUROCHS: The focused energy of the week hones in to your physicality. Every bump, bruise or sensation of delight has a message and it’s addressed to you. Read it!  There is deep wisdom within our very flesh, if we can only come to our senses and feel it. ~Elizabeth A. Behnke

TWINS: Use this week to discover one new thing about yourself! The difference between us is that I am aware of my natural state, while you are bemused…. We discover it by being earnest, by enquiring, questioning daily and hourly, by giving one’s life to this discovery. ~Nisargadatta

COBRA: The intensity of the week has you pointing your finger at others. Reverse the direction and learn! Why do I storm heaven for answers that are already in my heart? Every grace I need has already been given me. Oh, lead me to the Beyond within. ~Macrina Wieherkehr

LION:  The challenge before you is the answer to every question you’ve been asking this year. Why not invite it in to dine? It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, “Go away, I’m looking for the truth,” and so it goes away. Puzzling. ~Robert M. Pirsig

CERES: No matter how locked into a certain belief you are, it’s still a simple step to change your mind. 1) Think it differently. 2) Repeat. Your distress about life might mean you have been living for the wrong reason, not that you have no reason for living. ~Tom O’Conno

BALENCIA: The keenest suggestion for this week is to take a holiday. That doesn’t mean you have to get on a plane or even get time off work. Just be you. Sometimes the best way to figure out who you are is to get to that place where you don’t have to be anything else. ~Levis Ad

SCORPION: Bogged down is a feeling you get when you are on somebody else’s path, not your own. Exhausted? Check your goals. You will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need. ~Jerry Gillies

ARCHER: There is a lot of ambition in the pot, along with a strong, green, competitive streak. Before you bake this cake, rethink all the ingredients. Relax, enjoy, and remember to have a good time with whatever you’re up to.  It makes all the difference in the world. ~Jeannette Maw

SEA-GOAT: The key to this week’s testing circumstances is renewal. Go ahead, change your mind, change your plans, change your life! If in the last few years you haven’t discarded a major opinion or acquired a new one, check your pulse. You may be dead. ~Gelett Burgess

WATER-BEARER: There is a propensity to ask for tangible proof, a show of hands, a written statement, a declaration of love. The irony is that when someone is with you all the way, there are no words to define it.  Love isn’t something you see with your eyes. ~Gwen Cooper

FISHES: Many fish are swimming upstream this week. Are you? Why not turn around? It is the gift of individuality. To know what you prefer, instead of humbly saying “Amen” to what the world tells you ought to prefer, is to keep your soul alive. ~Robert Louis Stevenson
