    About The Scrivener's Tale:

In the bookshops and cafes of present-day Paris, ex-psychologist Gabe Figaret is trying to put his shattered life back together. When another doctor, Reynard, asks him to help with a delusional female patient, Gabe is reluctant... until he meets her. At first Gabe thinks the woman, Angelina, is merely terrified of Reynard, but he quickly discovers she is not quite what she seems.

As his relationship with Angelina deepens, Gabe's life in Paris becomes increasingly unstable. He senses a presence watching and following every move he makes, and yet he finds Angelina increasingly irresistible.

When Angelina tells Gabe he must kill her and flee to a place she calls Morgravia, he is horrified. But then Angelina shows him that the cathedral he has dreamt about since childhood is real and exists in Morgravia.

A special 10th Anniversary edition of her first fantasy book, Myrren's Gift, will be released in December!

RAM: By taking a step back from your current situation, especially if it involves all work and no play, you can see things in a new light. You want to become aware of your thoughts, you want to choose your thoughts carefully and you want to have fun with this, because you are the masterpiece of your own life. – Joe Vitale

AUROCHS: This is a time to remember how capable you are. If it’s taking some convincing, make a list of all your accomplishments, every single one of them. Read them aloud. Be your own best cheering section! Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success. – Joyce Brothers

TWINS: It’s possible that you’ve been paving the way for other people, going for goals that are not your own. If so, stop! This is your life to lead. The future is not some place we are going, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but made. And the activity of making them changes both the maker and their destination. – John Schaar

COBRA: Unravelling some tangled memories is the order of the day. What is recall anyway? You decide how events went. If any unpleasantness lingers from the past, rethink an alternative ending. Time to make the director’s cut.  When you visualize, then you materialize. If you’ve been there in the mind you’ll go there in the body. – Dr Denis Waitley

LION: Frustrations about dreams not quite come true? Time to let that go and get on with the business of living and loving life. In an instant you will launch your dreams – just as soon as you believe in them. Welcome to Planet Earth. There is nothing that you cannot be, or do, or have. You are a magnificent creator. – Abraham/Esther Hicks

CERES: The quickest way to reach your goals is to stop trying. That’s right. Stop. All that focus on something ‘not obtained’ is postponing your success. Just get on with doing what you love. All else will follow. Whether it’s relaxed, happy, satisfied or content –whatever ‘it’ is for you – start feeling that way now. Be that person NOW. –Jeannette Maw

BALENCIA: It’s possible that too much focus, worry or stress is going towards future events—things that haven’t actually happened yet. You may seek all kinds of guidance and advice, chop and change your mind, ring, test, call, cancel and even throw the bones. Relax. The best way to predict the future is to create it.  -Peter F. Drucker

SCORPION: This can be a restless time where you want to be constantly on the move through travel, work and action. It seems like if you can change what’s ‘out there’ then the inner world will have more peace. Probably better results if you turn that one around.  Every intention sets energy into motion, whether you are conscious of it or not. ~Gary Zukav

ARCHER: The feeling of obligation is not helping you reach your maximum level of joy right not. Double check. Are you sure you ‘should’ do that? We need to find the courage to say ‘NO’ to the things and people that are not serving us if we want to rediscover ourselves and live our lives with authenticity. ~Barbara De Angelis

SEA-GOAT: It’s easy to point the finger when there is another person in the room. This is illusion. Just as there is no spoon, when it comes to finding flaws, there is no other.  When you struggle with your partner, you are struggling with yourself. Every fault you see in them touches a denied weakness in yourself. ~Deepak Chopra

WATER-BEARER: Take stock of the little things. Take stock! If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never be fulfilled. If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself. Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the world belongs to you. ~Lao-Tzu

FISHES: The idea of self-sacrificing love is a bit of a paradox. Without bringing yourself to the party, it’s going to be hard to connect. This is a time to bask in your specialness. Be grateful for your own glorious distinction. You can never love someone more than you love your self, since it is impossible to give more than you have. ~Gene Ange

  1. Woah, a solar eclipse? Why didn’t anyone tell me before?? I’d better be able to see it in Canberra, or I’m gonna be pissed.

(Spoiler alert: there may just be an eclipse in The Griffin’s War. Find out in September!)
