    About The Scrivener's Tale:

In the bookshops and cafes of present-day Paris, ex-psychologist Gabe Figaret is trying to put his shattered life back together. When another doctor, Reynard, asks him to help with a delusional female patient, Gabe is reluctant... until he meets her. At first Gabe thinks the woman, Angelina, is merely terrified of Reynard, but he quickly discovers she is not quite what she seems.

As his relationship with Angelina deepens, Gabe's life in Paris becomes increasingly unstable. He senses a presence watching and following every move he makes, and yet he finds Angelina increasingly irresistible.

When Angelina tells Gabe he must kill her and flee to a place she calls Morgravia, he is horrified. But then Angelina shows him that the cathedral he has dreamt about since childhood is real and exists in Morgravia.

A special 10th Anniversary edition of her first fantasy book, Myrren's Gift, will be released in December!

Gaela Stars: Venus into the Lion

Lost in her Thoughts ... by Sammy Charnine , oil on canvas

RAM: Venus into Leo brings a feeling of romantic excitement complete with all the joys, trepidation, yearnings and borderline crazies. Live it up! We love life, not because we are used to living, but because we are used to loving. There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reason in madness. ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

AUROCHS: Dramas flair around the domicile bringing you in touch with the general mood of housemates. Words are expressed in the tradition of top rated soaps. Consider the value of an appreciative audience. Now after my long day’s labour sloping towards an evening of repose, has relaxed my energies by suggesting the charms of family life. ~Cicero

TWINS: Venus into Leo is exciting for the Twins—flirty, responsive and full of banter. Energy heats up to the boil and some may accuse you of being scattered or over the top. Is there a reason to care what they think?  I’m skilled at introducing new ideas every time out, each one different from the other and all of them good. ~Aristophanes

COBRA: There is a beautiful sensuality welling up as Venus enters Leo. Where in the past you felt withdrawn, in that part of your mind that looked away, now is an awakening. Awed by her brightness/ Stars near the beautiful moon/Cover their own shining faces/When she lights earth with her silver brilliance of love ….~Sappho

LION: The charm already innate in the heart of the Lion is doubled now, tripled even. This is your time to pitch the project, make the proposal, enter the comp, dream the big dreams. Expect the great things that you desire! What are you waiting for? And as concerning reality…the impression we get of it is not the same as the perception. ~Aristotle

CERES: Venus into Leo opens the door to the unconscious mind, the world of dreams and the landscapes of soul. From this realm come signs full of portend and meaning. Your intuition is heightened, your Psi off the scale and whatever you give fills their coffers and your own.  It is some solemn secret, surely, that you enshroud in mystery. ~Aeschylus

BALENCIA: This is a social time, flooded with invitations, shared meals and frequent gatherings with likeminded others. These one-to-many relationships will benefit you the most. If other areas of life challenge, go hang out with friends! They are each, then, others of each other, in groups; for they cannot be so one at a time. ~Plato

SCORPION: Venus into the sign of the Lion is fabulous mojo for career opportunities. Whatever you want, ask for it. This is a time of reaping rewards! He was, therefore, elated over his fame and had recourse to many other far more ambitious undertakings which would serve to increase the dominant position of his native state. ~Siculus

ARCHER: The course of Venus brings you to an even deeper level of thought. Realisations of what motivates you, what really makes you happy in the core of your being, rise to the surface and bloom in the light of consciousness. A freedom, and a responsibility, in one. For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? –St. Paul

SEA-GOAT: The transit of Venus into Leo offers a new perspective on how you feel about your time and whom you spend it with. Something to think about, isn’t it? Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT’S relativity. ~Albert Einstein

WATER-BEARER: A feisty, reckless, audacious, cheeky mood comes over you as if you’d been touched by Aphrodite herself. Singles will have no problem here. Others, well . . . When marriage is on equal terms, in my opinion it is no cause for dread; so never may the love of the mightier gods cast on me their irresistible glance. ~Aeschylus

FISHES: Venus into Leo warms the hearts of the most industrious, luring them from their tasks and inviting them on a journey to landscapes unseen. Will you say no? The hidden things the Fates conceal, she has the power to tell, for not content was she to learn her father’s arts, but rather pondered on mysterious things. ~Ovid
