    About The Scrivener's Tale:

In the bookshops and cafes of present-day Paris, ex-psychologist Gabe Figaret is trying to put his shattered life back together. When another doctor, Reynard, asks him to help with a delusional female patient, Gabe is reluctant... until he meets her. At first Gabe thinks the woman, Angelina, is merely terrified of Reynard, but he quickly discovers she is not quite what she seems.

As his relationship with Angelina deepens, Gabe's life in Paris becomes increasingly unstable. He senses a presence watching and following every move he makes, and yet he finds Angelina increasingly irresistible.

When Angelina tells Gabe he must kill her and flee to a place she calls Morgravia, he is horrified. But then Angelina shows him that the cathedral he has dreamt about since childhood is real and exists in Morgravia.

A special 10th Anniversary edition of her first fantasy book, Myrren's Gift, will be released in December!

Gaela astro-mojo for the week from Kim Falconer

RAM: The desire to march forward into new territory is thwarted only by the crucial thought that you’ll be making things ‘better’ for someone else. Seriously, do you mean to rob them of their own initiative? You can’t go around building a better world for people. Only people can build a better world for people. Otherwise it’s just a cage. ~Terry Pratchett

AUROCHS: An unexpected bump in the road could temporarily upset plans and arrangements made well in advance.  Accomplishment comes when you relax and trust the process. In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. ~Mahatma Ghandi

TWINS: A friend brings news that has you zapping and buzzing – a mix between agitation and exhilaration. If pressure grows and you can’t decide what to do, cave in! The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself. ~Oscar Wilde

COBRA: Tussles around career decisions can wait as you find a sense of being irrespective of profession. See yourself individuated and then do something fun. Hint: Take a music bath once or twice a week for a few seasons and you will find that it is to the soul what the water bath is to the body. ~Oliver Wendall Holmes

LION: Mixing in-laws and friends this week may have diverse results. There could be confrontation and fuss, but also revelations and new beginnings! Be still when you have nothing to say; when genuine passion moves you, say what you’ve got to say, and say it hot. ~D.H. Lawrence

CERES: It may seem you are moving through this week in slow-motion when suddenly things take a turn. Now you can share the benefits of work well done! When I’m trusting and being myself… everything in my life reflects this by falling into place easily, often miraculously. ~Shakti Gawain

BALENCIA: If you think your relationship life is going to settle into a predicable routine, best think again. Activity, adjustments and amorous notions are all in store! Love is union with somebody outside oneself under the condition of retaining the separateness and integrity of one’s own self. ~Erich Fromm

SCORPION: A burst of energy is best directed towards your health now with exercise, play, fitness, diet and relaxation the goal. The more you do for yourself in this area the better. We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. ~George Bernard Shaw

ARCHER: The demands of your offspring, partner and/or other creatures in your care (is there a difference?) can turn to various forms of fun and games. Why fight it when you can play ball, go for walks? Get out the pet brush and just enjoy. Tis never too late for delight. ~Thomas Moore

SEA-GOAT: There is something that needs saying and you are speaking every word but the right one! KISS! Keep it simple sweetie! When there is a gap between one’s real and one’s declared aims, one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish spurting out ink. ~George Orwell

WATER-BEARER: Financial worries have you on edge if you don’t look at the big picture. The situation is changing, no matter how unlikely, and you will have more choices soon. Patience! The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. ~Marcel Proust

FISHES: Feeling like a power without a throne, you might be chafing against the current restrictions. Be at peace. The right job will come along as soon as you exhale. Rincewind had been generally reckoned by his tutors to be a natural wizard in the same way that fish are natural mountaineers. ~Terry Pratchett “The Light Fantastic”
